Chemical Overpacking
When accumulated containers begin to leak, become outdated or contaminated, or when there is an emergency spill, Minuteman is the company to call for the chemical overpacking and disposal of hazardous waste drums. Our overpack drums are in compliance with all spill control regulations and can be used with all packing classes of hazardous materials (I, II and III) including solvents and acids. Minuteman provides overpack drums for the following applications:
- Overpacking of damaged or leaking drums and containers
- Collection and transport of soiled sorbents
- Cleanup of contaminated sites
- Direct containment and transport of hazardous chemicals
- Emergency spill response
- Spill control kits
Our skilled personnel are experienced. We know the chemicals that we are working with. Our technicians are trained to recognize, characterize drum content and safely repack leaking or compromised containers into larger working containers for transport and disposal. Our personnel are equipped with all levels of personal protective equipment (Levels A-D) from protective suits, boots, and gloves to respiratory protection equipment including SCBA.
